The Orbit team is the newest product team at Beats & Bytes. Orbit (Optimized Releases Bridging Information and Teams) will become our hub for coordinating music releases across UMG, from the very start to pitching to Digital Streaming Providers like Spotify, Amazon Music or Apple Music. We're currently launching our MVP, that we co-created with our users, in Germany before rolling out globally. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new product from day one - helping shape how UMG coordinates music releases worldwide.
Here's your chance to join us at this exciting launch phase! Effective as of now, we're looking for a working student (all genders) Digital Product Management to join us within our Beats & Bytes department at our Headquarters in Berlin.

- You'll experience the full lifecycle of a product launch - from pitching and initial rollout through to supporting global expansion
- You can get insights into stakeholder management across labels, supply chain, and digital distribution teams in the music business, both in Germany and internationally
- You'll learn how to communicate value propositions and drive product adoption in a multi-market organization
- You learn about user-centric product management and agile, iterative development approaches
- You'll gain deep understanding of release planning workflows, including how different teams collaborate
- You will become the product expert for Orbit, learning deeply about its capabilities and becoming the go-to-person for innovative solutions to ensure both user and product success
- You'll see firsthand how to drive efficiency gains through process automation and system integration
What you’ll be doing:
- You are working closely with the product managers of Orbit in the business enablement division
- You work within a cross-functional setting, including change managers, engineers, product trio and user research in remote locations
- You support the initial rollout launching, creating a smooth adoption experience for our early adopters through trainings, support, and gathering user needs
- You prepare user educational material, workshops, presentations, vlogs, infographics and data flow charts specifically for release scheduling and planning workflows
- You are a guardian for product quality, including regular QA of new developments and bug reporting
- You may support the preparation and execution of the global rollout, helping onboard labels and teams across territories
- You contribute to the development of our Beats & Bytes community

- It's easy for you to display complex information and process flows graphically in an easily accessible way
- You are reliable and through your structured and organized way of working you can stay on top of stressful situations - especially important during a product launch phase
- Your communication and team skills are very good and you like working in an interdisciplinary and international team
- English and German skills are mandatory in reading, writing and speaking
